“My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.”~2 Corinthians 12:9
While I am at the gym I want to lift heavier than I did the time before with the same skill. Does that always pan out? NOPE! But I still strive to make it happen. I find myself trying to do life the same way. If I just carry my burdens long enough, maybe things will eventually work out the way I want. Maybe my troubles will work out if I just keep working at them. Does that always pan out? NOPE! Yet I still strive to make it happen. God does not want me to do life alone. He is always with me, 24/7, ready to help me at any time. I need to learn to lean on Him.
It is not my job to do the heavy lifting, that’s something only HE can do. My job is to seek Him, trust Him, and stand on His word! His grace is stronger than I could ever be. He is willing to pick me up when I am overloaded with burdens and troubles of this world.
Find the time to pick up His word and seek His guidance in EVERYTHING within your life and let Him guide you through all the troubles. Even whispering a prayer as you try to push for that next PR in the gym helps because He is everywhere we go and wants us to rely on His great mercies.
Reflect:
Have you asked God lately to help you with trouble that has come into your path? Not sure how? Pick up the Bible and start reading. He will start talking to you and your troubles will seem small then. Are you afraid your troubles are not worth calling upon God for His help? You are so wrong. There is nothing too small or too big for our God! He loves to help; He wants to help you in every area of your life. Just let Him, you will be glad you did.
Take Action:
Look for a reason to lean on God today! Do you have troubles that you think you can take care of? Just take it to Him and let Him work it out for you! He knows.
Amen
