On Sunday’s we invite you into something powerful: memorizing God’s Word. When life hits hard, what’s stored in your heart is what you draw from. And nothing strengthens your spirit like scripture tucked deep inside.
If there’s a couple of verses that can shift the way you see your hard days, it’s James 1:2–4.
We’re memorizing these words because it’s a mindset shifter. It teaches us to stop asking “Why is this happening to me?” and start asking, “What is God growing in me?”
It anchors us in the truth that perseverance is built one hard day at a time—and when it’s done, we’ll be stronger, wiser, and more complete. These verses remind us that God is doing something bigger than we can see.
Let’s be a community who doesn’t just read the Word… but remembers it.
What is God doing with me/ for me in my situation is a daily quest. He has definitely exposed and rearranged a lot in me during this time. For starters, I really did not understand how self centered I was before this caregiving stage of life. “ He who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it”
